Oh wow. It’s almost 2 years since you applied. Did you try contacting them? Did you apply with a lawyer or by yourself?not yet that is my worry

My bad I didn’t see the other comment. I recently applied for h&c. I came here when I was a minor and never went back to my country. I’m honestly just praying I get approved since the government is making so many changes to immigration. I really hope you get approved soon though.yes but you did not share your situation

Regular troll/doomsday account. Just block and ignore. Often spreads doomsday messages that H&C will take years and yearsHoping for the best is not a good plan with H&C especially if you have only recently applied. H&C does not prevent removal, you have minimal control over H&C outcomes, a refusal has significant consequences because if you get denied then returning as a temporary resident will be very difficult, etc. Canadian immigration has changed a lot in the past few years and you need to be very strategic to put yourself in the best possible position to qualify for PR. As a young person that may mean returning home to try to come back as a PR. Really depends on their history, if they have been in Canada legally or not, their country of origin, their ability to speak French, etc. H&C process could take 5-7+ years at the moment for 2025 applicants. You can be removed while waiting. You could literally return home, do a healthcare course like nursing, learn French, work for at least a year, etc. and that may actually be a faster process.
Congrats! You must be so happy that you have PR since leaving the country. Can you tell me a little about your application if you don’t mind? How did you come to apply for h&c? Why did you have to leave the country? What age did you apply ?Aip received

Thanks for that but still stage 2 is pending not sure how long it will take so i came to canada in 2018 when i was 17 as a international student then due to some issues backhome i applied for assylum in 2020 through a lawyer who just took money for me i wasn’t aware of the processing of asylum so my assylum case got abounded i wasn’t aware of that i was on open work permit till 2023 May but then i received a cbsa notice for removal so i went to lawyer then they suggested me H&c so it was based on all my hardship ,life in canada and community also benifit of child,my work lifr, life threatening and hardships from my back home so i was 22 at that time .So appliied it but still from may till sep i was giving attendance at cbsa but eventually they denied my Pre risk assessment and i got removed.Since then i was worried about everything and everyone was saying that you wasted your money on h&c lawyer. So he intially told me that i will get AIP in 6-7 months but it took me 25 months so since a year i was completely moved on with my life but suddenly i recived an email for AIP from my lawyer. But now i am more worried about stage 2 and also haven’t received medical request and also i think i need ARC to comeback.God know how long it will take.Wishing you luck too!Congrats! . I also heard that if your stage 1 is approved you have a really good chance of stage 2 being approved as well.
