Processing times have increased because many apply before summer and IRCC is no longer approving people either in bulk or with very little scrutiny. They are now actually reviewing applications before approving/refusing them because approving TRVs without much scrutiny caused many problems. A supervisa allows an up to 5 year visit so processing of a few months is still not that long given the potential visit length.
Any update for anyone?
I have applied on 29th June for my Sister in law through new IRCC portal but background check is still in progress.
Last updated in tracker was 13th July then nothing after that.

Hi ! I’m manpreet .
I’m a student in Canada but due to some medical issues I’ve to come back to India . I applied my trv from India in 12 may . And on 22 may they said they will make a final decision but today is 11 August I haven’t received any response . My one semester has already passed and I failed in 2 subjects . I’ve raise 5-6 web forms but they aren’t responding positively. If I don’t go back in September then I won’t be able to get work permit . So can anybody help me please I’m really stucked in this situation I’ve to go before my 4 semester starts so if anybody knows how to contact mp from Canada please guide me I need everybody’s help .
