Received a refusal for my husband today. We both applied on 28th May and I received a refusal on 9th June and my husband has received the refusal today.
But the thing which I am wondering about is that our biometrics and background checks are on the same dates.
My husband has a military background

My sister got the generic refusal yesterday seems like they even didn't check the file even after the two months of process.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:

You do not have significant family ties outside Canada.
her job more then 5 years old and she gave letter from the employer with vacations approved.

The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application. •
(purpose was clearly mention to visit brother family and niece because we didn't met since past 5 years.

Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable)
she applied for two months with the asset of 10k CAD plus my supporting documents was there in complete detail.

what you guys suggest need to reapply for wait for few month then try again.

So without going back and seeing if you posted her profile. These are not generic refusals.
Family ties - spouse and children if over 22. If she is single then difficult to be approved. Job is not a family tie.
Temporary stay - stay of two months is way too long to leave job and if no family ties then visit is way too long. What other than job is tie to return?
Funds - Your funds not relevant. Her funds of $10k cash in personal accounts is way too low for a two month visit. Visit should be 2 weeks.

I don't see anything generic in her refusal but may be missing something as I don't know her full profile. Seems like they did read her file if she is single, job is only tie, not enough money, and really long visit.

Depending on what your refusal reasons were then consider you applying alone to show ties to return (family, job, business), funds and strong travel history. If spouse has military background then makes approval difficult.

I got same generic refusal as you. I applied a week later than your stated timeline. Situation for my sister is totally different than your sister's situation but same reasons for refusal. Seems like a no approval or strict reviewal process is implemented by IRCC for TRVs. ABSURD!

I think so its AI generated refusal because she did her biometrics in May and yesterday she received two letters back to back we received your biometrics and right after 5 mins another email of generic refusal. No clue what IRCC doing.

These refusals statements have not changed in years. Everyone thinks the reasons are generic. She didn't show enough funds, no family ties to return and a two month stay which is way too long. I stated pretty clearly why her application is refused. The reasons for refusal are obvious and IRCC rightly refused it.

So is sister single? Did she (not anyone else) show enough funds? Was visit only 2 weeks? IRCC is strict.

update:
m so confused about this. I tracked my son’s application on gc key, it says eligibility in progress,
nothing about background.
But now i was finally able to track on tracker and there it says background in progress & under eligiblty it says :not started yet.
