Am a srilankan passport holder with PGWP valid until 2026 in Canada. I applied for TRV on September 22 2023.
I am traveling to India this October end for an emergency. I still didn't get approval for my trv. Is it possible to get it stamped in India for a srilankan passport holder after getting TRV APPROVAL AND PASSPORT SUBMISSION REQUEST LETTER?

Thank you for the positive and quick response. I really appreciate it. However I would like to know how sure you are regarding this thing? Coz if I go India and if VFS global refuse to stamp I don't have any other options and I don't know anyone in India. Just asking out of curiosity, please do advise ur thoughts.

Can you submit a TRV Visa application online to a country and have your biometric done in another country ?

“Thank you for contacting our office. Please note that your request is currently under review and there is no further action required at this time.
Unfortunately, nothing can be done to expedite your application, and there is no guarantee of how long itwill take to finalize your application.
Thank you for the interest you have shown in Canada.” Does anyone else ever got this information letter in the gckey from ircc ? I don’t know what does it means and how long would it take from here on to get the PPR approved . I have to travel to india urgently due to medical reasons can anyone help please what does this letter means?

Means nothing just a standardized reply telling you that your application is undergoing processing and that they can’t estimate when it may be finalized. It is up to you to assess your situation and whether you should travel now or wait.

I am in the same exact situation as you. Applied april 16, correspondence on may 7. Nothing since then
