I'm currently in the process of changing my last name to my husband's, so I'm getting a new passport and am unable to complete my biometrics. I'll hopefully complete it in early December. Kind of shot myself in the foot by slowing down the process, but my husband and I agreed that it's better to get the name change out of the way now then have to deal with it in the future when everything is finalized. We called IRCC before deciding to start the process of changing my last name and they said that we shouldn't have any issue with it affecting our application.

My last update was exactly about medical exam 4.10. after that - nothing currently there's Background verification in progress

I'm currently working on biometrics, medical has been completed and approved. We're only a few months into our applications so it seems unlikely that anyone will have anything additionally done because the background process is the longest part of the application.
