My work permit is expired, I am in the pool with masters in Canada and 2 years of work experience with a CRS score of 481, if I leave Canada will I still be eligible to recieve an invite and also will my crs score go down ?

Leaving Canada will not change your points. What will change points is age and Canadian work experience if more than 3 years old.

Well Canadian experience only counts for the last 3 years.

• have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada (or an equal amount of part-time work experience) in the 3 years before you apply

You don’t need to have a valid permit to get PR. What is your NOC? Is it in IT, healthcare or trades to get ITA with your current score.

So you will have to wait for an IT specific draw and hope the score is 481 or less. Is your Canadian experience within the last 3 years?
