Also, photo is still showing "in review with IRCC" in PR Portal. From what I have seen from most of the people, once you get GU1, your photo is already approved and your application is sent to print and ship your PR Card.
hi , i called ircc today so they told me your card sent for printing . Any idea , how long they will take ?

Hi all,
I am waiting for my first pr card (already linked to my GCKey and got GU1 already) but just moved into a new place (same province). Anyone knows how to change address and if that could potentially delay the delivery of it? Thanks.

Just call IRCC and inform them. That's the fastest and simplest way.

Also for those who are unaware on what GU1 and GU2;

GU means ghost update, you will not receive an email from IRCC so keep checking your account.

For example;

GU1: October 10, 2023: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
GU2: Review of eligibility - October 20, 2023: Your eligibility has been reviewed. Please see the final decision below. (Once you scroll down, you will see a document status section that includes your PR Card Number, Expiry date and etc.. ) It will also says "We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive. "

Hi guys,
I got the address is accepted. Does it mean GU1?
I saw on GCKeys: Final decision : October 25, 2023 Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made. What does it mean for "final decision" then "Your application is in progress"?
= They sent your PR card for printing, they will notify you when they mail it to your address, which will be shown as GU2.

Just throwing my timeline here for others' reference:
  • PR card received in mail - October 27
  • eCOPR - July 31
  • GU1/GU2 - None. Final decision made on the same date as CORP. No updates after that on GCKey
  • Photo status on Residence Portal remained "In Review with IRCC" even after receiving the card

I received eCoPR on August 10th, I linked my PR card to Gckey on Sept 17th. when I log into Gckey I see the below information.
- Date Submitted - September 17, 2023
- Current Status - Submitted
- Messages - None
when I open up the link to check the full status of the application it say received on August 10 2023 (this is the correct date). Its weird why the Gckey account would have a different revived date, Im hoping that they are not using the date that I linked my Gckey account as the recieved date as this would make it almost a month behind.

This is such a stressful process
