I was in the same situation 1 year ago. I applied for citizenship on May 2022 and since nothing heard until March 2023. My online application been refused in March this year and the reason was that they can’t confirm my days in Canada before I became a PR. Now a reapplied for citizenship in April this year and already done my citizenship exam.
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that, but also glad that you are your application is being processed quickly now!! I will certainly keep trying if I don't hear back next week and I have ordered the notes and paid for it so fingers crossed!
I wouldn't bother applying for GCMS notes, there will be nothing if they can't see your application. I would just wait to hear back from the processing centre
I just received the email with all the info for a zoom call. In that email is an email address which you have to contact immediately if you can't attend.
I wrote them right away I want to reschedule for in person and also mentioned I want a paper certificate. Let's see how that goes.

I got two ghost updates on 24th and 26th but no invite yet.ok, just got my invitation for the test (it seems it was updated in my profile by July 22nd, and the window is from 4th to 24th August). I saw the office is Montreal. If there is someone from this office, how quick/slow it is?

Online application submitted June and AOR June 9. I see that there was two updates (ghost updates) in the tracker on 24 and 26 July but no mentioning in the tracker of what that update was about. Anyone has an idea or experienced this before? Thanks

I applied on the 4th of April for PR renewal and Citizenship Grant. It’s not until I requested gcms notes that I saw some movements and it has since been slow.
Can someone share if they know the sequence they used when they called to get a human being to talk to and if there is a time period one is more likely to get through! Much appreciated.
From my experience, I call early (between 8 and 11am Toronto time)... I dont remember the sequence but its pretty straightforward as they ask if you have Submitted an application for citizenship etc. Just follow the prompt. It's very clear the options to choose
