I have given up hopes on my app being processed any time soon. London visa office is very slow. There is no action whatsoever in the London visa office spousal sponsorship thread. I got medical request two months after biometrics. Most people get medical request together with the biometrics request.

In general (not specifically about LVO), I have seen others posting about their horror stories: no medical or biometrics request even after 5 or 6 months of submission. I can't live with this suspense. I am applying for a TRV for now. Let's see how things unfold.

Guys a question about biometric info. If a TRV applicant did biometric few months back, application got refused. And if now applying for Spousal PR - do i need to do the biometric again, or I just need to give details of biometric from the past month or so - and that should be ok?
Does CIC require spousal PR applicants, to do the biometric again, if their biometrics for TRV was done within the last 60 days or so?

If you apply for permanent residence
Due to COVID-19, as a temporary measure, if you gave your biometrics within the last 10 years, you don’t need to give your biometrics again.

You were issued a Biometrics Number when you submitted your biometrics for TRV application. You may choose to include this number with you Permanent Residence application. This is not a requirement, but it may facilitate the process of locating those records. You don't need to submit your biometrics again.

Hi I'm from March 2023 submission group, just here to get few insights on an update. My Eligibility in GC key updated from We will let you know to We are reviewing your eligibility. I'm yet to receive SA and medical. Bio is from TRV.

Has anyone faced similar situation?

Hi. Can you please help me with my situation. We have outland spousal application submitted for my wife on November 10th, biometric and medical is done in January. I'm a Canadian citizen. My wife had a visitor visa also. She is in Canada with me right now, what's the process now?. What if she gets PPR soon, how to proceed?. Do I have to inform IRCC?.

Once you get PPR, fill webform saying that your spouse is presently in Canada on Visitor Visa and you would like to request Virtual landing in Canada.
