Hi,

Question for the admins managing the excel tracker. In the "Processing Time Comparison" page is there a way to view the average time for "Delivered to AOR" for Paper applications alone?

I suspect this metric is averaging out to a low number with the online application getting AOR faster than paper applications. In the past this could have been flipped the other way and having a way to filter the comparison by type of application would help folks with paper applications to see the time lines accordingly.

Thanks for the awesome data and cool organization you bring to the table in this forum. Let me know if you guys are looking for volunteers to maintain this type of information, would be happy to give back and contribute as well.
Currently data is not segregated for calculation based on application type. But you can always go to individual month tab and check column "V". It. will give u an high level view of the time taken to "Delivered to AOR" as column "U" contains application type. Currently for Dec 2022 its anywhere between 50-65 days.

@IG2020 Definitely need volunteers... At the moment only a few of us are transcribing entries from this forum to the sheets. It would be of great help if you could lend a hand.

We currently don't have a conditional stats based on paper vs. online. And I didn't plan to do it because all applications were technically going to go online by the end of 2022 and lack of time. However, now it's Feb 2023 and I am hoping minors and family with minors will be able to apply online by the end of this FY 2022-23 (March 31, 2023). If you still want to work on it and don't thing it's too much effort, you are welcome to add a new tab in the 2022 and try out your calculation and once you have it perfected, we can replicate it to 2023 sheets and protect the sheets. I recently added a new tab to collate all the oath dates by location every month :)

Also, just recently starting with September 2022, the pace of online applications vs paper applications is starting to flip - partly due to faster AORs for Online applications and likely staff being rotated out of paper processing. We can't really predict IRCC strategies for FY 2023-24 so not sure if this is going to be the case... It will be interesting to follow paper vs. online stats

In this Forum anyone has received option for the Electronic version Citizenship Certificate by Email to accept? Because those who applied after 4th January can avail this option and randomly they have sent such option to accept for those who applied before 4th Jan 2023. Electronic version can save at least 10 to 14 days of processing time, once the Oath is over. So I just wanted to confirm whether do we have any such beneficiary of this option.

Hi,

I will request edit access on the sheet for 2022 and 2023. Am happy to help transcribe the updates into the excel sheet for both the years. Will also try to get an online vs paper calculation in an offline copy. Once its done we can add into 2023. Hopefully folks post march can do everything on-line, but it should still be useful for the folks in the first quarter.
