PR Card Renewal & New - 2022 Processing Timeline

Hi, I submitted PR card renewal request on Dec 5, 2022. I haven't received any acknowledgment of receipt from IRCC to date. I am also unable to track my application on their ECAS portal but was able to link it on the IRCC portal and now know my application number starting with "R". The issue is with slow progress on my application and unable to track progress. Is someone else in the same boat here?

Did you apply using the portal? When you link to the IRCC I assume you mean GCKey? Did it link your original PR card or the renewal?

I got the same issue here. I got an number with R in email but not sure if it’s application number or something else. I submitted paper application in mail in Dec 15.

Same with me. Submitted thru PR portal on Dec. 8, 2022. Have not received any emails from IRCC. Also unable to track on ECAS and no application found on IRCC portal. Gonna wait till next week then Ill call IRCC and ask for an update.

I have applied my PR Card renewal through PR Card portal.
Application was received on 21st Sep 2021. I even did not get any email with Confirmation #. I called IRCC and they gave me Confirmation #.
I am still waiting as of today to receive my PR Card. I have my flight Next friday and travelling to india and getting worried. I have called IRCC and agent said they cant do anything and advised me to apply for PRTD before travelling to India. also, i am not able to link my Pr card portal application to online IRCC account. when i called IRCC, they only said Application is in progress. its been 4 months now.
is there any one who received their PR card and applied during Sep 2021 timeframe?

I have applied through PR portal on September 26,2022 .I was able to link the application in IRCC secure account login but the status is always being shown as in progress, called the IRCC multiple times they told that we added a note in your file and sent email to the office . It’s been 4 months I have applied , no other update on the progress . I have travel next week.

Hi,

I am looking to travel with my family to India in April and i am yet to receive my 2 Year old son's PR card.
We did his Landing on August 31 2022
it is now January and almost 5 months over, i am worried about our upcoming travel as the whole family have travel document to return to Canada except my 2 year old.
could anyone suggest how to get his PR card or PRTD.
I wanted to apply PRTD before leaving but it gives only an option of applying a new PR card,to Apply PRTD I have to select i am outside of Canada but i am still in canada and want to get the travel document befor leaving.

Any help or Advise is highly Appreciated

My timeline:
Submitted online 24th Sep 2022 (Current card expires in April 2023, i do meet the RO easily even though i travel back and forth a lot from Canada).

Finally i was able to get into the GCKEY yesterday but funny it says two different submitted dates (One for 25th Jan 2023 the day i got into GCKEY & one for 24th Sep 2022 the day i actually submitted it).

Anyway currently saying in process!!!!

The portal is correct , it’s been 4 months I have applied no update yet, the application is still in progress for me as well

Hi - for residency obligations did you mail any supporting documents like pay stubs and bank statements or T4 forms?

Applying for PR Card renewal through paper application. The calculation of time away from Canada is 1070 days so I am within the time period. Am submitting 2 photos, PR Card copy, Passport Copy pages with ID information, Canada Landing Visa. What do people generally submit apart from these - Do I need to submit any other documents like T4, Pay stubs, Bank Statements etc? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Not sure if my case is the same. My PR card will expire in March. I created an account in the PR portal and submitted my PR renewal request last Nov. 16. Until now it's on submitted status. I have not received any acknowledgement at all.

I have been reading updates in this thread, about PR card renewal getting completed in less than a month.

My application will be almost a month now but have not received any update yet.

Did you submit any proof of residency like T4, pay stubs or Bank statements?
