I have been reading often about MP helping people who had issues with IRCC.
A year ago, I had issues with EI - being stuck and not processed for over 8 months. I emailed the local MP's office for help but never heard back. It makes me wonder, if something ever happens with my IRCC application, I am pretty certain they (office) won't help/answer back.
How do you manage to even get an answer from MP's office? Mine seems completely useless.
Most MPs have a webform specifically for immigration issues. So I actually had mine successfully helped me. I emailed them on a Friday; his secretary followed up IRCC straight away. On Monday I got my AOR (back in October).

You are correct on both points. Just know that IRCC can ask you to revise the nomination for any reason they deem, though it is extremely rare. So the main thing is that the nomination is valid at the time of application.
Got it. Also i see you signatures - Can you share what does PAL , DM and ADR stands for ?

Hi guys,
Two day received my OINP for Employer Job Offer Stream. just to check with you this in is not valid for Express Entry?
Witch Province Nomination program is adding you +600 point then.
I dint dig to much about what is my next steps and how long will take until I don't get my PR card. If someone can give me some
directions I will be gratefully.
In end of November I did get new LMIA and I already apply for my work permit.

Regards

PAL = Pre-arrival letter, which indicates you have passed eligibility criteria and no further information is generally required on your application

DM = decision made (usually approval of application)

ADR = additional document request, they will ask you for anything from re-completing forms, pay stubs, tax returns & employment letters to verify you're not lying on your application

Thanks for the swift response. This make sense. I am already on closed work permit valid till Nov 2024. Also as per new rules i guess i dont need to undergo medical exam again Since i entered Canada in 2022. So does that mean i would directly have Decision made ( DM ) after AOR ?

Not a chance. Did you apply PR from inside Canada when/after you did medicals? Did you pass your previous medical? If so, then you will likely qualify for exemption.

After AOR, you can expect a biometrics request (if you haven't done it already). You may receive any number of ADRs. IRCC is known to do "spot checks" - these are vital to maintaining the integrity of the immigration system and entail asking you anywhere from 5-10 additional docs including tax returns, pay stubs, credit card statements. Don't be surprised if you get these. You may be asked additional information about your spouse/children (if applicable).

If you get PAL after AOR but with no ADR, then your application is likely heading for approval. But timelines are messed up - some people are getting PR in 3 months, some in 11, some in 15, some in 3-4 years. Nobody knows with this shitty PR stream.

Interesting. My MP provides only their email (and phone) for all governmental issues and that's it. Next time I will call rather than email. Good to know most MP's offices are fast in solving issues.

I honestly feel the concept of non-Express Entry should be banned. I made a complaint that this program opens workers to abuse. I'm lucky but many are not - I have to keep my job till the day I get COPR. They allow spouses to get PR straight away (they used to put a condition that you have to stay with your sponsoring spouse for 1-2 years and then removed it), so why not do the same for workers? Imagine being someone who has applied in 2019 or 2020 and is still waiting and has to keep the same job - no promotion, no pay rise, toxic environment and 60 hour weeks. It's real.

It just makes my blood boil that they just do things so quickly for FSW and CEC candidates. Once they get an ITA, BOOM - AOR, BOOM - ADRs, BOOM - Portal 1, BOOM - ECOPR. Just had someone at a restaurant tell me that he got his COPR in 28 days. Screw your IRCC. SCREW. YOU.

How does that even make any sense??? What is the point of dividing candidates up between expedited and non-expedited? Isn't the idea to source and settle labour into the provinces as quickly as possible? The only people who should be expedited are those fleeing war torn countries.
Put it in a fashion way , "Institutional/systematic" human trafficing-ism, or a modern form of slavery lol

What isn't helping with the system at the moment is the lofty immigration goals Canada has, they are struggling to clear a huge backlog but they are constantly adding to it without properly fixing core problems with the whole system.
This is almost the doctrine/culture of this gov(not sure the opposition will do much better but this gov certainly can do worse), only to keep the mouth running while keeping the hands idling, to make it sounds proud but act shamefully

totally, i'm in the situation where I want to change jobs but need to wait for eCOPR but them sending the portal 2 email to me without credentials to login and now having to chase up is making that a lot more difficult, and likely going to add another 4/5 months to my process- because I am not expecting them to respond to me with the login details for at least 30 days.

hey, i dont know your situation ,but i was talking to a bud and he told me that changes jobs should be a problem if you have BOWP. i believe if you get to Portal 1 they dont even check if you work for the same company as well.

i got AOR --> ADR --> PAL ->> Medical request, most likely i believe it is either approval or denial after the Medical request

guys, I need to ask this... who is eligible for PAL? I only got portal 1 so far
You didn't get PAL??? Really? It sometimes happens, but it's rare. Please share your full timeline.

PAL is a waste of time, it is only an indicator of eligibility. Anyone really is eligible for PAL - once you get to Canada you can access Newcomer Centres where they help you settle in.

I've been inland since 2018 when my medical exam is done before entering Canada.
my PGWP is still valid. IDK if these make sense
