The trackers are not real time from my experience. My last GCkey update was November 23rd. My last update on The New status checker was December 7th. Both trackers indicate that background and eligibility has not been done yet I have received my wife's Pre-Arrival letter and Passport Request. So obviously our application is complete yet no tracker updates. See my signature for the time line.
Hey Good to know that , and congratulations.

I have been waiting from October and many of the folks are waiting from September as well. I checked May 2022 applicants thread and most of them seem to have received and are currently receiving their PPR. Probably once they finish up May 2022 all June applicants PPR and next steps will start i guess . Staying with that hope for now
yes true , I have been following threads from May applicants. and hoping that they will finish'em all and they will start with June applications soon.

Hi all. Our application is at PA's eligibility in progress as per pr tracker. My question is our pcc has expired in December as it's only valid for 6 months right? Do we have to do it again? I am asking cuz it's more than a month to get an appointment at the moment in PA's home country. Or will ircc consider it and go on. What is everyone else doing? I believe pcc has expired or going to expire soon for June applicants.

Hey , Yes You have a valid point but I think that's not even our fault , Immigrations Know it very precisely about validity. I have never seen If they have asked applicants to do their PCC again.

Yes you will be mostly asked for a new PCC. My first application was from Dec 2021 which was returned due to missing signatures and when we resubmitted the application in June 2022 , we provided the PCC we got on Oct 2021 and In Sep 2022 post my AOR and medical request ,on the same day i was also sent a request to submit new PCC. I resubmitted the same in October post which my eligibility was moved to in progress.

Its always safe to be prepared to avoid time delays. PCC is not gonna cost you much but a time delay in processing will cost you.

on further investigation, I have found that IRCC considers the PCC for this stream of immigration valid for a year from the date of issue. It doesn't matter how long the home country's validity is in this case.

so unless there are signatures missing and/or it has been a year for the PCC from the issue date, IRCC wont ask for a new one if you have submitted the PCC with the application. I just spoke to an agent.

Hope this helps.

Hi
Can I apply for TRV after submitting "outland sponsorship" then come to Canada and apply for OWP?
You can apply for TRV but there's no guarantee if they'll approve it. If it gets approved then you have to cancel your outland application and re-apply for inland sponsorship in order to be eligible for OWP.
