Hi Forum members, I am looking for support or help to see what is the best way to connect IRCC regarding my parents application. Please find the time line.

PARENT'S PR APPLICATION
Visa Office- Mississauga
App. Filed- Nov-25-2021
AOR Received- Jul-07-2022
Med's Request & Completed: Request came on Jul-18-2022 & Completed on Jul-30-2022
PCC Request & Completed: Request came on Aug-05-2055 & Completed and submitted the PCC on Aug-18-2022
Passport Req-
Visa Issued-
Landed-

After Aug 18, its dead silent with no update IRCC Mississauga Off.

Kindly advise, not sure how to proceed or what steps to get the feedback or suggestions are welcome, Thanks in advance to everyone.

Hello everyone,
Its been almost 2 months since last communication.
Everything is done Medical, Pcc and all the requested documents like aadhar card, marrg certi,etc were submitted in October but haven’t heard back from them since.

can someone please suggest if I should take any action like request MP to look into the file process or wait? Please reply

Any Idea tentatively when I should receive decision made and PPR request?

I am Nov21 applicant I sent PCC and all other documents on 23 Sept22 , still waiting to hear back from them , case processing at Mississauga ON.

We have not able to link our application with GC Key even after changing the user name and password.
Raised several webforms.
Our application is in advance stage. Submitted all documents including PCC in second week of September.
Hence there is a lot of anxiety.
Please suggest what to do?

Hello everyone, I have applied for permanent residency for my parents through sponsorship last year (2021). They recieved medical request in March 2022 and submitted within a week and it was approved after few months. We received pre-arrival email two months ago, but few hours after the pre-arrival email we got asked for additional information and submitted the information 2 months ago. Today we received an email and it seems my parents medical is about to expire in 3 months (which according to cic 3 months validity is not enough) and they requested my parents to re-do the medical.

Is this normal? anyone had or seen a similar experince?

Although it's not normal yet it has logic. Present processing time for PGP is 38 months and IRCC is anticipating to take more time to finalize the application i.e. beyond March 2023. Probably that's why they are asking you to redo the medical. Even if they decide your application in Feb, your parents will have little time left for landing as the last date of landing is fixed within the validity of medical(i.e. one year). Hope this will help.

Hello, only the Principal Applicant ( i.e your father in your case) has to fill out the form for all his kids whether they will accompany him or not.

OIC everyone else told me he has to fill the forms for all the dependent kids only. All of his kids are above 30 and married. This is stressing at this point.

Hi Mkulvi,
No need to get stressed. It's absolutely clear that imm5406 has be filled by the principal applicant (PA) and his dependents only and not by Non-dependents. But the additional family details in all the three sections
(A ,B, C) of the imm5406 must be complete. I have gone through the process of approval of pgp2021. I filled up imm5406 for myself and my spouse. There was no need of imm5406 in respect of children who are not dependent on us. Hope this clarify the issue.

I submitted application for my parents in Nov 2022. Requesting from the 2021 applicants what is the realistic expected time period for application processing? Online the processing time is 38 months.

WOW! you got your PR for your PGP application in about 1 year?!?!!?!??! Is this normal? nowadays it says 38months processing times!
