Hello guys, my parents got their PR approved and CIC requested to submit the passports.

In the letter the CIC sent by email, there's a note written that they must enter before their medical expire.
Is that condition applied to even people living outside Canada?
Please reply if someone has an answer.

The condition applies to people living outside Canada, the passport would usually be stamped till the medical end date which is why the person must come within the date stamped on the passport. which is usually 1 year from medical date.

No issues. make sure both of them have valid status in Canada later on, coz the PR process might take long. They can choose to go back to home country anytime, just remember to update their residential address if that happens.

We are in Canada and returning on 2 nd Nov.
1) How much time it will take for PPR.
Our change of postal address is already submitted by web form. But there is no receipt.

How long does it take for Portal email for photo/address after pre-arrival?

Don’t remember AOR date
But Sponsor approval was around march-April 2022 and same email instructed to send additional documents in advance to avoid the delays…. PCC from back home and RCMP was sent through email….
Pre-arrival 14-September 2022 under new message on gckey
Status on gckey is still showing submitted and everything else under process

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask the people who got their invitation in 2021 how long the processing is taking approximately? The cic website says 36 months which is a scary number.

the average is 36 month ,any request for additional documents or resubmitting documents will extend it further .
