Hi guys! I am stuck on something and need your help .. I submitted my spousal outland application in the month of June 2022, Got AOR_BIL+MR in the month of Aug. I'm done with Bio and Medical, Medical has been updated to completed in the portal on Aug 26 with an expiry date of 2023. Spouse eligibility was also updated to completed in the portal on Sept15 .. getting ghost updates until Oct 6, then received a letter from IRCC to provide an in-depth resume containing all my education, employment and professional history since the age of 18.

I wonder why they need to look for my education and employment history since the age of 18 whereas I have already submitted my employment history for the last 10 years as required in the online Schedule A form.

I passed Grade 8th, attempted the 9th exam and drop out but I have worked in many reputable companies based on my experience and performance. Also worked in one of the Gov.t Units and recently quit that job in Dec 2021, then started taking online courses in digital marketing and just finished in the month of September.

Based on my skills and performance I was promoted to the position of 'Project Coordinator' after getting appointed as PC Operator in the GOV.T unit where I have worked for the last 8 years and recently quit in DEC 2021. Also, I have worked in other organizations with some good designations but I have diversified kind of experience and a career change from web designer to telesales marketer, then marketing and sales and then as a project coordinator, After all this I then started studying digital marketing and now working as a Procurement Manager.

I'm wondering what makes them suspicious and why they have asked for my detailed and in-depth resume from the age of 18. when there is no such requirement of education and working experience in Family class spousal sponsorship.

I am confused and don't know what to do, how to cover up my impartial studies, employment gaps etc. and what term can be used for all this. Although I'm a self-taught individual and learn those skills on my own like - HTML-CSS- Java Scripting, Adobe Photoshop, Illustration, MS Excel, Dream Viewer (which is now obsolete) and interpesonal skills like communication, command in languages like English, urdu, etc.

I'm worried that it will affect my visa if I don't have certification, no such education, and no achievements on paper, that they will really be concerned about all this in my spousal immigration.

Please also guide me on how to make my resume.. Which makes some sense to the visa officer.
Your help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Do not try to guess WHY.
Just submit your resume/CV with all true facts. WHY do you want to "cover up" any of your study or employement history? IRCC do not care about your education or employement experience for spousal sponsorship. They just want you to be truthful and do not lie in any of your information/history.

When they don't care about my education or employment history then why needed to ask for a resume? i told them everything true in schedule A form.
I don't want to cover up but I don't know how to make the relevance of all like how to relate my skills from one job to another when I worked in different industries with different work.

And like i didn't say anything lie to them, submitted all my experience letters where i have worked in the last 10 years. that's why I'm a bit nervous about what they caught in the middle .. with my understanding they might be suspicious about my education and the work positions I held in the organization. Like how come a grade 8th student got appointed for such high designations? But that's true bcoz I had some references in those organizations by which I was promoted along with my skills and performance but how I make the visa office believe in it in reference to my resume?

I think I need to give explanation letters for all this and that would be alot which again can create doubt for them.
But yes, you're right .. I need to submit my resume without thinking much about why they asked for as long as I submit everything true

Thanks buddy for your motivation and for making me feel better.

By the way, can IRCC dig out my educational information or my resume record from my past employers? Plz don't take me wrong but just asking ..
The thing is I didn't say Lie in any information I provided to IRCC while submitting my application. So I think I should not be worried about the outcome.

Well, I have one more question, I would love it if you share your experience with this. Like I just recently turned 40 and I don't exactly remember where I have worked from the age of 18, I did some random job after studies and all .. but I have worked in 3 organizations in my working tenure which are no longer in business. I mean those companies are dissolved. Should I mention - Dissolved or defunct - for those companies or just let it go with my experience with them?
