I think best is maybe to call IRCC to confirm? But with implied status it should be ok to work. From the COPR, what I have heard from my friends who was outside the country is that, you can let IRCC know you are outside the country. And once you are back in Canada, you can then let IRCC know after which they should provide you with the COPR process. Again, I am not an expert on this, best is to call IRCC to confirm

I am also waiting for my PR approval. Really want to go home in December, but that is looking less and less likely since I have no other valid visa to re-enter
:(

Any word from Montreal VO whose application is stuck there?
My app is almost same as yours. AOR Nov 17, 2020. Also FSW-Inland with VO-Ottawa. Then I added Spouse at the beginning of this year and then my file is transferred to Montreal. Silence from them...

Eligibility/Criminality/Medical extended/passed for me. Security not started.
Medical for spouse is stuck In Progress...

I feel all the FSW-I app have been frozen and I do not see any movement of any sort of any kind.
We both would be completing 2yrs this November and the wait doesn't seem to get over.
Keep me posted if you see any movement.
Cheers

Yup. FSW inland apps … no movement. Even on FB groups all I see is Outland or PNP.

@viksap @baryonix have you tried contacting your local MPs etc.?
Only thing MP can do is to request info from IRCC, but faster (like 1-2 weeks, as compared to 30-60 days if we request GCMS note)

I asked my MP before, they give update and MP asks me to contact back after 3 months if i dont hear anything from IRCC again. It's almost 3 months now, i'll reach out to my MP again soon.

I was able to call the IRCC call center and talked to an agent today. According to them, my file is being actively worked on, with Eligibility passed, Background check ongoing, and Security coming up next. The call center said there is someone looking at my file weekly. The delay specifically in my file was because they thought I wanted to withdraw back in October 2021 (I didn't request a withdrawal but whatever) so my file was not worked on at all between October and April 2022. It is being actively worked on now, and hopefully, it will be completed by end of the year (or could spill over to early next year).

Wanted to share in case it is helpful to anyone, my AOR is Dec 2020.

They thought you withdrew ? that's a BS reason on their part. If that's the case, how many more of others have to suffer from their mistaken thoughts.

Ya, at that time CEC was getting processed much faster so I thought about reapplying under CEC. I send a web form asking about the process of withdrawal to which they say I have to send them a letter and whatnot. But I didn't go through with it, never send any letter, and said specifically I don't want to withdraw. So was there a mistake, but oh well at this point it's good to hear some progress. Don't care anymore as long as I get the PR approved. You should try calling could get more info on where you are in the process.
