Is it me or is the average AR to AOR time falling to approximately 8 months? Last year we saw so many people get AOR after 12, 15 and at worst 18 months. Hope these timelines keep falling the way they have.
Before pandemic, AOR took only a few months (a couple of months in many cases). Just IRCC used COVID as an excuse to delay everything. Now we become cheerful when getting AOR after 8 months..

I will be happy if the whole process can take less than 11 months, the service standard. But who knows. Hopefully they really speed up things.

Meanwhile, people who had F12 status 11/13 (before turning back to 7 for everyone) are still left behind without AOR for most cases. IRCC needs to fix their own technical issues and serves people in the first-come, first-served basis, not a random lottery.

Yeah to not get an AOR within even a week is disgusting. How on earth is it acceptable for any type of service organization to take months and months to only check if your application is complete? This isn't even the actual processing - AOR is only an acknowledgement for completeness of an application.

Can you imagine if an insurance company took 8 months to give an a claimant an AOR? Or if Service Canada took 8 months to check if your CERB application was complete? They would be sued into bankruptcy.

What's F12 status?

Avi, How many applicants (family members) do you have on your application? Just wondering since my AR is NOV 26 but I have 4 family members in total. Still no AOR.

It was a backdoor they forgot to close in the application portal that allowed you to see your TFN (if you had been assigned one already), if there was an officer assigned to your application, if your documents had been uploaded to GCMS, and gave you a "status id" - some of these ids raised the suspicion that there were glitches in their portal affecting some applicants (documents not being uploaded by the automated process).

Anyway, they clearly found out that applicants could see this information, updated the portal and now it's mostly gone.

Hello all,
Can anyone tell me that under PNP program after getting nomination from Saskatchewan (SINP) how much time did IRCC take to send acknowledgement number or file number if applied paper based application? I had received nomination from Saskatchewan in September 27,2021 and send complete documents on 5th Feburary, 2022. My package delivered there on Feburary 12,2022. After that I did not received any Communication from IRCC.

Please help

can't agree more. Really ridiculous to see this kind of working culture / standard in Canada.

I got a nomination approval email today and it says You must apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) using a paper application form. My question is can I apply with online poral since I heard its faster than paper based?

Hey, I am not able to see my application in submitted application in online portal. Is it with me or some glitch
Hi. I applied via online portal non express entry PNP on 11 march 2022. My application is also not visible in the submitted section. When i raised a webform, i received a response after 2 and a half months that the application has been received on 11 March 2022. But still nothing is visible in my account from past 4 months.
Is it a glitch?
Also what do u think the processing time is for the application when applied online ?
Thanks

indeed. it's even more disgusting especially when the AOR is the condition of applying for the BOWP and lots of those left behind are facing the expiration of their work permit, which jeopardize their job, legal status, health insurance, or even driver's license in some provinces, and worst case scenario, even the whole immigration process, basically a threat to their lifeline. Ironically, the provincial nominee certificates are only valid for 6 months, which implies the service standard is considered to get the AOR issued for no more than 6 months. what a shame.

Yes you can apply online. Technically it should take lesser time than paper based. But then who knows. The difference might be of a month or two. I have seen paper based applicants getting AOR in 13 months and then getting COPR in next 2 -3 months.
So far i think processing timing is between 15-18 months. But i am not sure.
Waiting on my AOR from past 5 months.
Best of luck .

Hi. Have you both paid the fees yet ? If not. Then may be that's the reason. I submitted in April 2022. After raising one webform, i got response that the file has been received on the day i submitted it and also provided me with the temporary file no. However, they stated that I couldn't use the temporary file no. To attach my file with the account just yet. For that i have to wait until I get an AOR.
HOPE THIS CLEARS A DOUBT.
