Thank you! I wasn't asked to provide a bank account statement as part of the process (probably because I was applying from USA?) - would it help my case if I sent that over to them via the webform or is it just futile?
if you wanted to upload best was to upload it in additional documents while submitting the application. You can submit via webform if you like but it may not make a difference. Given you have valid US visa most likely you will be approved.

My mom has a previous Canada Visa, will that help in having greater chances approved?

He didn't have any property
Travel history
Good job salary
And bank statement was weak.@12k can only
Unfortunately sibling and wife/husbund application is too much difficult to get. Mist of them get rejected.
By the way be optimists
If "sibling and wife/husband" application is difficult then what is easy? Is applying just for tourism without sibling sponsor easier?

Today marks 141 days of my visa application.

Eligibility Review started today.
Hey congratulations! Whom had you applied for? Yourself? Or parents/spouse?
I am planning to visit my friend on a visitor visa. Its my 133rd day. I shouldn't be far behind hopefully.

It's actually for my wife and daughter. My wife's Canadian visitor expired along with her passport. I have a TRV and my daughter is traveling for the first time. What's interesting is my wife has a valid US visa as well but it took this long for eligibility to begin! All of us are in India we just wanted to see our family in Canada

I hear that the eligibility review is all over the place and it honestly does not mean the application may get processed soon. Some wait for a few days, weeks and months after the eligibility review begins.
