I should put tentatively received. I missed the postie but I have door tag and I'm not expecting anything else. At least now I have an anticipated date of tomorrow after 1pm

Confirmed, it was indeed my passport. Judging by a few other replies it seems like people who applied Mid/late March, without urgent processing, are receiving their passports

Very much grateful I found this forum. We sent two child passport applications to Gatineau on April 30th in one envelope, it arrived May 5th. We travel on July 22nd and we gave this date on the application, and I’m quite nervous. Some of the timelines I hear are encouraging, some are not!! If anyone has timelines from Gatineau specifically I’d be very grateful to hear them.

I also got transferred there and haven't heard anything since. Our trip is in 4 days... were going in person to sort it out on Monday

Hey guys, so here is my timeline:

Application sent: 12th March 2022
Application received: 18th March 2022
Card Charged: 12th April
Called on 12th of May for an update, but my file was in examination. Called again on the 30th of May to give a travel date and request for a file transfer.
Passport and certificate sent: June 1st
Passport and certificate received in one envelope: June 4th.

Mine application was received on March 25 n cc charged April 23. When can i expect? Do u think i should call and ask for transfer?

Got my passport today! Applied by mail from the United States, with no travel date, for a new adult passport.

Received: March 17
CC charged: March 24
Contacted embassy: May 20
Passport received in mail: June 2

If you applied from the United States and are in dire need of a passport (I needed it to renew my driver’s license, which expired at the end of May), I highly suggest reaching out to the Canadian embassy, who will forward your case to the closest consulate. Consular services helped me get my passport in less than two weeks.

Everyone seems to be getting their cc charged about a month after sending in. Mine was received May 4th and still nothing. Travel July 20th. Does anyone know the best time to try get an appointment online?

My was received on the 3rd of May and I had a buddy that had the same date as you and still waiting. We call in but it not on the system yet and was told about call back in the mid of June.

You can make a appointment 24 hour a day but usually they open up really early in the morning, so it kind of hard to make appointment since you are travelling in July. You should line up in the passport office and apply for urgrent or if you got lucky you can book anything day if there is a open up. (someone cancel the appointment )

App received in Ottawa (sent to Gatineau address): April 12
Cc charged: May 8

Update on mine.

No passport yet. Was planning to go on a trip this July but it seems like that won't happen. It's a bummer but it is what it is..
