Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2021

I precisely don't know whether separate PCC letter is must or not but the letter I got requires following information:

1) your current residential address, phone no and email id
2) proof of relation (Aadhar cards, voterid cards of all members) of Principal Applicant with the accompanying dependent(s).
3)proof of relation of Sponsor with Principal Applicant I e Sponsor's Aadhar card, voterid card, educational record such as 5th, 8th, secondary, sr secondary school certificates.
4) PCC of Principal Applicant and dependent (s).
Further ircc enables as many slots in mycic account to upload the required information. Separate files of each of the above info to be uploaded in mycic account. I have done it yesterday only.
 
After 7 years of wait we finally received invitation for medical.
Not 7, but probably 2 years of nothing since biometrics.

Anyway. We applied for parents sponsorship and thats what we put in application.
Now they are asking parents to complete medical as well as obtain police clearance, and that is all fine.
But brother, who we are not sponsoring is also required to obtain police clearance since age of 18.
We did not, neither we could, apply for him, so why they are asking for his medical and police clearance if he is not applicant?

He is not a criminal, but it happened that the guy studied in France for a year, lived n South Korea, Thailand and USA, in each over 6 months. Now we are supposed to get police clearanace in 30 days from all these countries, where he lived over 10 years ago.

Has anyone had to do the same? It doesnt make sense to us

Need help to link to GC Key.
I have the application #, UCI etc. Received BIL & Medical letters as well.
I am only sponsoring my dad and mom, but when I try to link with GCKey and put '2' as the number of applicants, including main applicant, while linking the app - The application is not found.

I would be grateful if anyone has any information or suggestions. Thanks!

Hi All, I submitted my parents sponsorship application in November 2021. Today i have received an email stating that 1 of the forms is incomplete which is IMM 5406E. They have asked to resend the form in 30 days. This form asks for parents address but currently they are visiting me here in Canada and before coming here they have sold their house which was the address that i filled originally back in November 2021. Can someone please suggest what should i fill up as their address?

You need to put 3.
Funda is:
Sponsor +cosignor, if any+Principal Applicant+ PA's dependent
So in your it should be 3

Hello everyone! For those who resubmitted forms or additional documents. Did you resubmit thru email or webform or both? Did you get auto reply? It says on the letter submit via one of the methods. But I am just wondering if what the others did. Thanks

Whether anyone have uploaded PCC through gckey?
They are asking document no. what is to be written, whether it will be passport office file no.

i dont have a clear cut answer about the subject but you might have an answer about the process below ( take in consideration that stating that it will take you some time to finish clearing all the police certificate might delay your process , what is the age of your brother ? is he living with your parents ? is he independent ? its simply trying to find a reason why you can mention that the police certificate wont be delivered for reason xyz versus stating that it will take more time :

All the dependent family members , whether accompanying the principal applicant to Canada or not, must be declared on the application and be examined. If family members are not examined, it is not possible to sponsor them at a later date. This includes children in the custody of a former spouse or common-law partner.

In addition, failure to declare dependent family members on the application and have them examined goes against the duty to provide truthful and accurate information, and may cause them to be found inadmissible to Canada.

Can we go for the upfront medical? Thing is my parents got biometrics request on May 26 and they will have to take a flight to go to another city for both Medical and Biometrics. I am still waiting for Medical request letter. Should I just book for last possible day for their biometrics and hope that somehow I receive medical request in the mean time? I really don't want them to take this trip twice if they don't have to.
