May 11 - Received at VFS Makati, Philippines
May 12 - Tracking number provided via VFS Chat and status is "has been dispatched to the IRCC Office, on 2022/05/12 for processing
May 13 - Status "has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office on 2022/05/13

Hello I Am PR holder in Canada and applied for my Boyfriend for visit visa from India. To attend my graduation and visit me after 2.5 years long wait. i cant travel to India due to my health issue at present.

Time line is below:
April 25 - application submitted
April 29 - webform raised for submitting additional document as we were not able to upload in new portal despite of specified size of PDF
May 3 - received email from IRCC stating received inquiry and will work on that
May 10 - Biometrics submitted and updated in portal same day. shows biometric completed.
Application shows application under process. will send you an email when we start reviewing eligibility.
Waiting for the next update.

Yes BVL and PPR given same day (May 9, 2022). Biometrics done March 30, 2022.

after how many minutes, hour you got BVL did you receive PPR?

True but new portal doesn’t specify option from inside or outside of canada… will be posting updates here

Applied VV for my Parents from Canada:
Submitted - 12th April
Biometrics done - 19th April
Biometrics updated - 19th April (For my mother it still says "We have not received your fingerprints ...." though biometric number has been updated. Tried calling IRCC many times but No luck.

Nope, no email. I just keep on checking the application progress daily, so saw it got changed.
