Hi All,

I have a situation, so reaching out to see if anyone faced or heared of the similar situation.

Sent my parent's passports for stamping to IRCC through VFS. Received my father's Passport and counterfoil updated on IRCC account. My mom's passport sent back from IRCC yesterday in transit but no Counterfoil generated in IRCC account. Has anyone seen or heard about this when Passport is already dispatched from IRCC but no counterfoil generated on IRCC account?

Any input is really appreciated.

I am on closed WP and have applied for my spouse and kid visitor visa from India thru GC key
Applied on - 17th Dec, 2021
Biometrics - Already done in past

Haven't heard anything till yet. Can anyone please let me know which month applications are getting processed.
It would really a great help.

Visitor visa processing time from India shows 81 days.
Is it possible to travel to, say, Sri Lanka as a tourist and apply for Canada visitor visa from there? Processing time in Sri Lanka is 41 days.
Once the ppr request comes, send it to Delhi embassy?

November 2020 applied super visa
Biometrics done Aug 2021.
Upfront medical October 2021.
Nov 2021 reapplied on new IRCC portal.
Showed medical passed Dec 2021 in old portal.
March 2022 old application automatically withdrawn.
No updates since.

Also Applied Visitor Visa for both parents in Nov 20 2021.
Biometrics done Dec 21 2021.
No updates since.

Although Biometric number is updated but it still says we haven't received your biometrics.

Exactly in same boat.
Applied for my parents in Jan 2022. Biometrics completed on 27-Jan-2022. No update since then.
My mother status shows, Biometrics completed. However, my father status shows, we have not received your Biometrics but on top it shows biometrics date.
I read in some forum it is system error and should update when someone picks up the file.

Any idea how to expedite it? Please help!

I have sent multiple webforms even asked our local MP for help as we have a new born to take care and need help. No help. Some people got visa in days even after applying much later then me.

hello
i am currently on study permit in Canada. my course is getting over in April 2022, but study permit is valid till September 2022.
i am having 4 nd half year old daughter whos TRV i applied in October 2021 got rejected in feb2022.
now i want to re apply her application.
can you guide me when should i apply for her visa after i get my work permit or can i apply along when i apply for my work permit ?
and which visa should i apply for ?? TRV or study permit ?
she will be turning 5 years in octboer 2022.
