I got an invitation from EE and submitted my all documents on Aug 24, 2018. It has been more than 8 months and I still have not got any emails or messages. It shows they are still doing my background check and the decision has not been made. The regular processing time is supposed to be less than 6 months.
I also applied GCMS Notes and got it a month ago. I read it and nothing looks wrong. It shows all my documents have been checked by the analyst and recommended PASS, and I noticed this note was made on Oct 30, 2018. But again, I still have not got any official message from CIC yet.
So I want to know what I can do after seeing the GCMS notes? How can I contact IRCC and ask about the status? Is there any other way to follow up with my application other than waiting?
Please let me know if any of you experience the same issue or have any solutions.
