Hi all,
I will graduate from a post-graduation program at Langara College in September. It was a 2 years program, but I took more classes and was able to finish it in 18 months. My study permit expires in July 2018. My plan was to find a skilled job in my field (marketing), but I couldn't find a job as yet.

As an international student, my husband has an open work permit also valid until July 2018.

My questions are
  1. can my husband continue working until July 2018?
  2. or because I will graduate in September, will my husband have to stop working?
  3. if that is the case, can he continue working until my PGWP is approved?
He has a skilled job and has been working since April and we would like him to continue until he completes 1 year at the job, so we can apply for the Canadian Experience Class.
Or would you recommend that we try the BCPNP program right away?

Thank you for your help!

Hello, I need your advice.
I got my PGWP in March,2019 and my spouse OWP will expire in October,2019. He is working at a NOC B job. We got our ITA last week and we claimed 5 points for his skilled Canadian work experience. (I'm primary applicant)

I will submit all our documents in a week, but I'm concerned that if the visa officer says my spouse works illegally since there is a remark on his OWP saying that 'his OWP only valid if I'm a full-time student'. Do you see any kind of risk in our case?
