Hello I am new to the canadian PR, please advise me how does the medical care coverage is provided for new immigrants. Is there a specific timeline where you are eligible.

How about a new immigrant without a job or unable to find the job since landing, since you are not paying taxes until you find a job are you still elligible for the medical care? Lastly, when you sponsor an eldery family member such as parents, are they medically covered if they are not working or paying the taxes to the goverement medical system? Please advise. Thanks

Each province has their own healthcare. In some provinces you may pay a monthly fee (like BC) but in most you don't. Most provinces make you wait 3 months after you move there until you are covered but some (like AB) don't. Healthcare does not depend on you having a job and/or paying taxes. If you sponsor your parents to get PR, they will have the same right to healthcare as everybody else who is a PR or a citizen.
