My long term common-law partner and I wish to move to canada, here is a brief background to our situation
we both are Indonesia Citizen, live in Jakarta
I am a secretary, she is a freelance writer for India Website
I would like to apply for federal skilled worker class and I think applying my partner under Common-law, however I have heard conflicting information since my partner does not work in formal organization/company and I heard several common law partner visa get rejected because lack of proofs. Since we live in Indonesia, we we don't have proof such as marriage certificate, because homosexual is illegal in Indonesia.
Based on anyones prior experience are we going down the right track or is there a better way to do it? any help and suggestion would be much appreciated
