Dear friend,

Getting 6.5 in speaking is quite easy...But you need to develop your competencies to show your skills such as

1). Confidence in you while using English
2). Fluency and use of apt words (Vocabulary)
3). Pronounciation and proper communication of your thoughts.
4). Expression

My IELTS Tutor is developing a 21 day free course on improving all 4 skills needed for IELTS exam in the website named yourieltsonline.com ...It is fairly new one..Try to use that 21 day free course to improve your speaking skills....i assure that you will get not less than 7. But i feel they will launch the program by next week only..till then wait ....

Hello guys,

from my own experiences, speaking test results may vary depending on examiners and their moods. I had to take test twice and in my first speaking test, i got 8.00 while for my second test, i only got 6.5. (tips that are always ignored: greeting / eye- contact and self- confidence).

Please check following links out. I found them very usefull among thousands of test tips.

There are few very good speaking test available at iTunes too.
Thanks

SPEAKING TEST TIP # Don't worry about the occasional mistake. The examiner will expect some mistakes - after all, English is a foreign language for you and people make mistakes in speaking foreign languages. The examiner is not making a note of every single mistake that you make. This would be impossible to do and concentrate on your speaking. He will more get a general impression of your English accuracy so individual errors don't matter. More important is your communication.
