Hi,

God is good. Just received my passport with visa today... Thanks everyone for all the tips!

Questions ----

1. Based on your experience (those who got their visa and already in Canada), whats the best next move?
2. What do I need to plan/bring pra sa pag punta ko sa port of entry ng Canada e is smooth sailing ang pag pasok co?
3. Do I need to open a bank account (Canada) while im still here?
4. Is it advisable to process my SSN while im still here in the Philippines?
5. September 2017 ung class ko, when is the best time to go to Canada? I still have job here so Im not in a hurry to leave pero if I can work there which I believe is possible and legal while waiting for September class is okay.

1) Book your plane ticket.
2) Letter of acceptance, Letter from the embassy and your proof of funds.
3) No you can do it later if you want. You can bring a managers check with you as your proof of funds.
4) You can get your SIN in the port of entry or in your city here in Canada. Will take less than few hours.
5) Maybe arrive in the 1st week of august to settle properly. 1 month is enough time to get used to Canadian life and look for a job. No you cannot work legally until your classes starts. You are not a student by then.
Lastly, the people who are still active are from 2015 applicant so they are just in the place of getting an PGWP and maybe some are already working. But I know few who are already PR and came as an international student. Good example is my boss, who came as a spouse of an international student. Both of them are Citizen.

2. nasa Correspondence Letter from the Embassy ang mga dapat mong dalhin/gawin sa port of entry. (PASSPORT, LOA and Correspondence Letter from Embassy of Canada)
3. nope, you can do it after you land, ako bank draft and USD dala ko then nag-open ako ng account the next day after ko magland, then pinawiretransfer ko nalang yung iba sa pinas hehe. BANK DRAFT/DEMAND DRAFT in CAD/USD dalhin mo

Prepare for arrival — Study

Gusto ko ipanotaryo ang Letter of Support ko from my sponsor (my mom who's based in UAE.)
Hi.. Ung letter of support from my husband hindi notarized, sa proof of funds ko i just submitted his Company Letter that includes the amount of his salary and his 4 months bank statement.

But yung letter to support for my accommodation from my brother who lives in Canada, notarized siya from Canada itself.

Fingers Crossed, I am still waiting for my result 5 weeks na ako waiting and here in AUH 6 weeks yung processing time.
