Optimized Three Canada Flags

In the Dec. 6. Express Entry draw, a total of 2,750 candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 452 were invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

This is the third draw to operate under the new 'tie-break' procedure whereby in the event that multiple candidates have the required cut-off score, in this case 452, profiles are ranked according to the date and time of submission of the profiles, with profiles that have been in the pool longer being prioritized for invitation over newer profiles. The cut-off for this draw was November 16, 2017, at 04:20:20 UTC.

The most recent federal Express Entry draw was not limited to any specific program; candidates in all programs managed through Express Entry were in a position to receive an ITA. For individuals to qualify they need to first meet the eligibility criteria for one of the three immigration programs managed through the Express Entry system — the Federal Skilled Worker (FSWC)Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Once in the Express Entry pool, candidates are allocated a CRS score based on the following factors: civil status information, education, work experience, language ability, and other criteria. The allocated CRS score determines candidates' ranking in the pool. With an ITA, candidates are able to submit an application for Canadian permanent resident status.
