    Spousal PR outland

Here's a thread and post that covers this with some information that purports to be from IRCC about how to sign: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/dependent-child-application-2024-is-the-ircc-screwed-up-or-just-me.838754/post-10776216 As you have found, it...

    RO calculation

Easiest way to calculate is if total days OUTSIDE Canada is LESS THAN 1095 days in most recent five years (or from date of becoming a PR if less than five years) at time of examination, you are in compliance. Since on June 30 2024 there will be LESS THAN 1095 days TOTAL since the day you became...

I received my Confirmation of Permanent Residence. What do I need to do after signing the document, and where do I submit it?"

Do not sign it unless and until you are told to do so. Neither do you 'submit' it. You need to provide more information. Where you got it, in what circumstances, etc. Easiest would be to read ALL of the instructions etc that you received with it.

Was my mothers PR status revoked

My guess is that her landing permit from 1974 may be prior to these systems. That's primarily what I was referring to about how those with very old (by IRCC standards) files may sometimes not be caught by the "do not issue ETA to PRs" rule the system is supposed to enforce. Now (going back to...

Was my mothers PR status revoked

There have been cases of those with PR status (never revoked or renounced) from decades ago who have been granted ETAs. While this may be a reliable test in vast majority of cases, not always, and this is type of case where it might not be.

Was my mothers PR status revoked

My guess only is that if she wasn't given any formal papers, that it has not been revoked. If she has a previous SIN, it should still be valid but may have been put on hold. (I forget the precise term). This is mainly done so that it can't be used to get benefits. It is still a valid SIN # to...

    Citizenship Physical Presence Calculator Error

The second link you showed was clearly an error of the applicant. But at any rate: I hadn't come across such cases that weren't an error of the applicant. Even for those where it was, it doesn't resovle the issue. All I can suggest is provide a letter of explanation with your own accounting of...

    Got R-1 visa. What's next?

That probably played a role (they do take these things into account) - but then, most of the major travel and other pandemic restrictions were lifted by 2022 (in truth, they didn't really apply to you as a PR either, but travel restrictions weren't the only thing going on). So that's two years...

    Your document is invalid.

Mistakes or unclear messages are probably more common in the status systems than in the actual application handling. We KNOW these systems set statuses (like 'document invalid') that are not clear, and we know it usually takes at least a few weeks for IRCC to actually send the completed card...

    Your document is invalid.

Probably does mean they've issued a new card. Not sure though. Wait a week or two before worrying.

IRCC stamped on passport with old name using biometric details

You'll need to send it to get it fixed, yes. Name on visa should match that on the passport in which the visa is affixed. If you did this at VFS, take it back to them. I believe the package you got back says what to do if there are any errors. If different from my above - read their own...

Travelling while PR card being Renewed

My undrestanding is that the OLD card is cancelled sixty days after issuance of the new one. I don't know how to make that more clear.

    PR Card Renewal

Read the instructions. Submit TWO pieces of evidence she has resided in Canada. One or two NOAs (not need to do all five) and something like one bank statement or AISH (whatever that is) should be enough.

    Citizenship Physical Presence Calculator Error

    What? I don't think that's true.

IRCC stamped on passport with old name using biometric details

I still don't understand. What exactly is wrong on the passport stamp (which is called the 'visa' BTW)? The biometrics is irrelevant - only a correct visa is needed.

HELP Online PR Renewal Question 5.7 Humanitarian & Compassionate Grounds

Another suggestion would be to simply start over the online application, possibly with a new login, so as to check the logic of every single answer in the app.

    Got R-1 visa. What's next?

How to deal with it is up to you. You can leave and then apply for a PRTD when you expect to return; it could be approved, or it could be refused, in which case you would likely lose your PR status (barring a successful appeal). Or you could stay in Canada and, for example, transfer to a...

Travelling while PR card being Renewed

Yes. Note, the critical point is whether you'll be able to board the plane with the old document - to which the answer is yes. Unfortunately you cannot know exactly when the new card was issued until you get it, but should be at least time to get it delivered to your Canadian address plus 30...

I have no idea what you are saying. What does "IRCC stamped on passport through biometrics details" mean?

Providing Additional Docs - Application status "Submitted"

you can either wait or try to submit via webform without the number. I understand entering a series of zeroes or soemthing like that should work.
