Hello,
I currently live in U.S and I may be getting my Canadian PR anytime soon. I have plans to open a LLC in Canada and I will be the sole owner of my business. Say if I open my LLC in Canada, file my taxes and do the necessary legal work and continue my work in the U.S, would that meet the requirements of PR?
PR is given for a period of 5 years out of which the applicant is expected to stay in Canada for 2 years. Does that mean that I have to physically stay there or would the fact that I have opened an LLC count towards the "stay period" for my Canadian PR and citizenship.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Vijay
