hello,
if one has a bachelor's titled economics, politics, and social sciences is it possible to get into a business-related master's program? would it be too irrelevant in the eyes of the admissions officer
thanks

Depends on the requirements for that particular program. So look up where you plan to take your masters and see their requirements. Most likely yes, but check with admissions.

most universities do not offer masters in marketing, it is mostly MBA programs. The ones that offer are very research-based, do you know why?

York has a Masters. Which program are you referring to. If Concordia, most likely a MSc in Marketing because Montreal has a strong pharmaceutical base. Same with Guelph but focus on agriculture.

for example at Winnipeg university masters are so limited, at British Columbia university it clearly says it prepares students for Ph.D. but still it is a good choice, at waterloo university business-related masters are scientific and research-based; management science, and economics. at york university there are literally no master programs related to business or management in general.

Waterloo is a STEM/research based university so it makes sense as the businesses around the university are start-up research based companies. York has a Masters in Marketing. Maybe you should look at the US and UK schools.
