Working in US and staying in Canada!

Hello

Can anyone throw some light if someone works in US and stays in Canada(typical Detroit-Windsor model wherein people stay in Windsor,ON and then commute to Detroit for work),will the number of days be counted towards his citizenship or during the renewal of PR card?

If you commute to the USA, and return the same day, sleeping in Canada, every day counts towards maintaining PR / applying for citizenship.

Do u need an non-immigrant visa to travel to US or does the PR stand as a visa to travel to US and work ?

No..a Canadian PR does not qualify you to work in US..You need to have a work visa specifically for US
