Hi everyone,
In the past couple of weeks I've been digging a lot about immigration to Canada and how would it apply to me. As far as I got, it seams that I can achieve crs 442 with an IELTS 7, which means a CBL 9. Even though it seams a nice score, the lowest draw for EE since its beginning it's 450. So I'd be a little shorter. The ideia of getting a valid job offer through LMIA seams pretty difficult. I thought about a PNP, but there is still this impass about the job offer. It might not be a LMIA, but there is still a request to a permanent job offer (while usually holding a temporary working visa), and also oneretes the employer.
So I'm considering going to canada to study (even though a have a 5-year degree of architecture and one 1 and a half postgraduation) to get canadian education and work experience (through PGWP), basically the major points I'm not getting besides the 600 points from the job offer or the PNP nominee. With all that said, I'm wondering to apply to a postgraduation in the field of construction (for construction management) aimed to international students. It is a one year diploma. After that I'd work with a PGWP for the same period.
My major quastion is, while I have my work experience here in Brazil, in architecture, which includes some construction management, it is mostly in design and drafting. Could I apply both work experiences, from Brazil (as architect), and the one from Canada (as construction manager)? Even though it is a different job position, it's some how in the same industry. I'd like to believe that I can.
Going through the immigration process brings many quastions, but I was able to find many here in the forum.
For now that's all.
Thanks everyone
