why Passport delay

Hello My wife ( + child ) had an interview Jan 13th in Guyana, and was told everything was ok, just had to redo medical and submit + refill a few forms they claim they dont have on file. Anyways she did the medical on 14th and went back in to the Embassy in Guyana, submit forms, passport and prepaid shipping receipt. they told her the imm officeer will take all docs to Port Of Spain the Monday (17th) and she she should get back the passport very soon, YEA RIGHT.

I am a little norvous I dont know wht to expect. Can anyone gave me some ideas what is going or when can my family expect to receive their passport, wht can cause delays, I mean she was told by the interviewer everthing is ok and he approve the sponsorship.

You're only talking 3 weeks ago! They don't work that fast . . . especially PoS. Be patient, it'll come.
