Recently , I've found 10s of Band 9 letters in all categories of Formal,Semi,Informal
As a trainer claims(native and trustworthy guy ) he is digging into deeper of each criteria of letter (TA,CC,LE,GRA) I can't see any very complex structure or even lexical or moreover any advance cohesive device, still, that gets BAND 9 .
I have a chart that represent, even candidate gets band 8 in Letter and 6 or above in essay, he could reach band 7 as a final score in writing
My question is : These sample letter I've seen, use very normal structure but correctly, not professional vocabularies (10% in C level maximum ), good coherence and range of correct grammar
Can I trust to those samples ? I mean, Does Band 9 in letter could be easy as he has demonstrated as a professional IELTS trainer ? Or because he knows how deal with exam, I feel that it's not difficult ?
