Hi every one, this is my first time to the forum.
well, here is a little bit of the background. we all have chinese citizen and sounthamerican residences (expired). my parents came to canada from china illegally and claimed a refugee because of the assaults, threats and kipnaps in southamerica and china because of the underground church. Now, the application is rejected and waiting for the 2nd hearing which is coming shortly. I came as an international student from south america, my parents sent me here first because they are affraid that they are going to hurt me. I am having a 3 year open work permit. thats not the problem.
what im worring about are my parents. what if the 2nd hearing gets rejected as well, what do they have to do? which is the best way for them? i have asked several consultants in canada:
1. She suggested to my parents to invest here and open a business or buy an existing business and hire people and through this, they can apply for residence. But one thing is that my parents are now receiving benefits (health, cheques) from the government.
2. the 2nd consultant told them to follow what the government indicates: buy their own tickets (do not let the government buys fot them) and leave Canada to wait for 1 year and apply for an ARC at the meantime i will get my Residence throught CEC to spnsor them. But i have read information about this, and the chances for an ARC is very low. Plus, i dont know under what program should i sponsor them to come since now sponsoring parents are not open yet.
I really want my parents beside me, since Im the only child.
i will appreciate everyone that could give some comment or opinion or suggestions regarding my parents case.
Thanks a lot.
