Hi Guys,
In Personal History, Address History, Experience, what should I write in current/present month/year? (from To?)
e.g If i m living at my current address or working at my current employer since July 2008, still working..

From To
2008, 07 what's in here?

Thanks,

V.

If its current job ... "Present" , this is what i did and was okay.

but it;s a date field,, it takes year and month...the very first column in address history, experience, personal history...

What i did, i Typed right bellow the box of date, "present" and it worked fine. You can do same, left empty box and type bellow of "TO" box, i red in forum some one typed in box present too but i'll not recomend this.

@ vishals_me

I put in the month that I was sending the application in and it was fine.

From To
2005, 04 2009, 03

thanks, guys,,
sounds ok to me.

The Norm is:

From TO
XX.XX.XXXX Date

Note that the Date is Date and not figures.

it is recommended to write "present". you'll have to write it by hand.
i put the application month, and it seems to have worked, as they cashed my check.

whatever you do, make sure you do NOT leave that field blank, else your application will DEFINITELY be returned.

Well, I wrote To Date. And I got my AOR within 5 Days.

BobbyB...
Actually if see at logic, when we put date .. its look like we done/end on this date, forexample, 20/09 to 20/11 ,even 20/11 is current date for example, it looks like we done at 20/11. Always if some thing is in continuos status, we need to indicate it, like as i said above " Present"means job is continuos and current.

You are very right at this issue, date Box is for date , not for writing but generaly, "To" indicates done or end date. If its present job, we need to write Present. But i guess it shouldnt any issue , writing today date for current job or writing "Present" for current job as defferent applicants are using both methods and there wasnt any problem.

It's OK Mahharouf. U seem to have misunderstood what I have written.

TO
DATE

You actually write DATE in that place, which means I am working at CompanyXXX to DATE.

Anyway, It's OK the IO will understand both.

Yes sorry, i though you meant by 'Date' is current date. Yes, both ways are accepted i guess, just be sure we are not leaving that space empty :), thanks.
