you have to show statements to the said value ( i think its more than $10k).
When you land, you have to show again.

To see the list of documents you need to submit, in either original or notarized copies, go to the website of the visa office where you will submit full application. Each visa office has its own requirements.

As to funds, you have to show proof that you have them at time of application, and then again when you land. Sometimes, visa office might ask you to submit updated proof of funds even before they issue you the PR visa. Proof of funds increases depending on the number of dependents you have who will be moving to Canada with you. Minimum amounts to show is also on cic.gc.ca.

Good luck!

Can i write a letter explanation saying that i am going to have the min. requirements funds after 2 months from now ?

I think they won't like that.

Can you get your bank statement showing the required amount within the required 120days? If yes, I would wait to get the bank statement and then send in the documents to Sydney.

Just like what Rupeshhari had said, CIC won't look at your letter positively. I am not sure if you are at that stage where you are applying to Sydney for initial eligibility or if you are about to send to your visa office where original documents (including proof of funds) need to be submitted.

If you would like to apply to Sydney CIO and will only have the funds 2 months from now, I think you can submit your application now. But that is only IF you can almost be certain to have full funds within 120 days after you receive AOR from Sydney. Documents to Sydney does not include proof of funds anyway. Just just state on the application form how much your available funds will be, funds which you can show proof of upon submission of full application to your visa office.

But if you are now at that point where you will be sending original documents (including proof of funds) to your visa office, then I strongly suggest that you wait for your funds to be sufficient. I am almost sure that if you send your documents to your visa office with only a letter stating that youwill have full funds after 2 months that your application will be returned to you.

Good luck.
