What is the reason behind Schedule A request? Is it random? Who receives it?

Why would you think it is "random"?

It's a standard form. If it's been requested, complete it and send it.

As you are saying its a standard form, so everybody should receive it right? But thats not the case. CIC is sending them randomly and what we dont is is criteria they using for sending Request A form?

It's usually requested from those who didn't accurately complete their schedule A ie those who omitted some dates. It's also requested from those that CIC wants further clarification on their background.
 
No one other than the VO working on your application/CIC policy makers can tell you what the criteria are (and no, before anyone asks, a call centre agent if you call CIC won't be able to tell you: they may give you an answer, but there's no guarantee that it will be correct).

If you receive a request for it, why not just comply?
