My common law partner and I are sending off our Outland application this weekend. I'm currently on an international experience canada visa, which runs out in early February. I've visited canada a dozen times before, but I had issues because I visited too much before I obtained ny work Visa, so I'm scared of leaving nd not being able to come back.

- what hall I do?

I read that if I have a Canadian address its easier to apply for an extension, but I want to stay the whole time.

You can apply Inland and stay for the period they are processing your case.

Note that to do so you must include a temporary status application along with your inland permanent resident application. That works because you gain "implied status".
