What is Canada's policy/laws/mentality about homeschooling in Alberta? What does the general population view about it?

Most people here are not the "general population", really. i do not know the percentages, but I suspect that most people here are prospective immigrants (many live outside of Canada at present).

But lets hope they get here soon
