Hi all,

The definition of commerce is 'trading'. I am assuming this is correct but just for safe assurance, is an accounting degree a commerce degree? Or is 'commerce' a degree in itself in Canada.

Bachelor of Commerce/B.Comm. is the standard term for an undergraduate business degree in Canada. (Just as B.A. is a Bachelor of Arts.) Accounting would fall under the B.Comm. classification.

Depending on the school you want to attend Bachelor of Commerce, may be a broad Finanace Degree or or specific. One of the best and most difficult to get into within Ontario is Queens University - Commerce Program.

In their program you can study all these areas:

■Accounting
■International Business
■Marketing
■Ethics
■Finance
■Quantitative Methods
■Industrial and Human Relations
■Management Information Systems

A Bachelor of Commerce, often abbreviated as B.Com. or Bachelors of Commerce. is an undergraduate degree in commerce. The degree is also known as the Bachelor of Commerce and Administration, or BCA. It is predominantly offered in Commonwealth nations.
