Hi folks,
I am trying to get admission for PHD prog or masters in HR from Canada based universities. However i wish to go thr with my family ( hubby n kids)...pls suggest d possible ways. I am also thr in Express entry pool (for migration) but with score less than 400 so dont hv d hopes to get thru.

Dear Bongoman,

Thank u so much for sharing this thread..though i hv gone thru it but for a beginner like me this thread is lil confusing as i hv zero knowledge about the study visa too.
Thus I wud need help on below querries.
1. We r already in July, r the universities still taking student intakes for upcoming session.
2. I m a post graduate from India so can I apply for PHD or Post Graduate programmes in canadian universities, or wat best courses r available for those who have already furnished PG from their home country.
3. If yes then wat documents wl b required
4. I have a valid ECA (Educational credentials Accreditation) which was done while I applied for PR through general training programme. So Can I use the same ECA, if at all its required in Student visa application too.

I know i m asking lot of questions but i really need their answers to avoid any discrepancy happening in later stages.

Thank u

1. You have to check with the university you want to apply to but its pronably too late for this year.

2. Yes of course if you have a masters you can do PHD if you get admission.

3. Will depend on Uni check their requirements.

4. ECA is usually not necessary for admission to university but again this would all be there in the admission requirements for PHD you might need to contact a professor who you will be studying under.
