I've just submitted my EE profile with a score of 503 under CEC.

I am expecting a tax return from the CRS for about $12,000 that will cover all of my funds requirements. Is there some requirement for showing that you have had the funds in your possession for 6 months? I hear people talking about sending 6 months of bank statements sometimes.

I will probably get the tax return in the next 30-60 days. The next ITA is probably before then, so I want to be sure I'm not missing something.

Thanks,

It's true you can just show the source as a tax return, and you're fine. Also, if you are in fact invited through CEC, you may be able to put whatever it is you in fact have in your account (even just a few hundred dollars) and not have to show more.

You need to show the 6 months transaction history. I know some people who didn't and cic asked them to submit it during application process. They just want to make sure you have not borrowed the money. Just add the print of the CRA page that shows you have a payment scheduled for a certain date with a certain value.
