University Settlement Recreation Centre is a non-profit organization that provides a wide range of social services to the local Chinese community in downtown Toronto. Our English Café is a weekly learning session which encourages peer interaction between English-speaking and Mandarin-speakers and creates a common learning environment for community members from diverse backgrounds.
We are currently recruiting English-speaking volunteers for English Cafe. Volunteers will participate in English Café sessions by assisting others with their English, while learning to speak some Mandarin themselves.
Benefits:

• Reference letters will be provided upon request.
• TTC token provided if eligible
