How long must one wait before they can sponsor their spouse?
My brother landed in November 2005. He has a job and is doing well as far as income is concerned. He is getting married on April 30, 2006. Will it be OK for him to get married, and start sponshoring his wife after such a short time after landing?
He did not know his fiance until after he landed in Canada, so she was not included in any of his own immigration forms/documents.
