This may be basic but i am a bit confused and will be grateful for an advise from anyone with experience with this. I am filling out my express entry profile (FSW) and not certain with what NOC i should use as my primary occupation.
i have a combined work experience of 9 years in financial services (including 1 year spent in business school). i started my career as a compliance trainee at a bank (NOC -0111), working in that role for 16 months. i then moved into investment management (NOC-0121) managing mainly mutual funds and spent 5 years before taking a year to complete my MBA. Post MBA i have joined another bank as a manager within compliance (NOC- 0111).
My question is which of these should i quote as my primary occupation for which i want to claim points under the FSW? should it be the one with majority work experience? or my current job?
