I'm currently in the PPR stage. The Ottawa office received my docs last week so will be processing that right now.
My wife (secondary on my application) has now less than 6 months on her passport (as of Sunday March 17th) so I was hoping they'd process the PPR stuff before then, but I added a note to address this fact anyway.
After we get the response/approval and receive the COPR, we'll be 'landing' on our way back from a UK trip next month. However, directly after that trip my wife will be renewing her passport and as part of that, updating her surname (as we got married last year)
Does anyone know how this surname update impacts the COPR or PR card & is there anything I should or need to do due to this?
